Boxtream future plans :
Here's a list of things we want to support in the future :
- Axis 24XX Family camera servers. They are currently partially supported as frame grabbers to control the inputs of the video switcher. Support will soon be added to control PTZ cameras directly from Boxtream.
- Sony VISCA protocol and VISCA compatible hardware.
- DVDAuthor to automate the creation and optional burning of video DVD images. Boxtream can currently generate and optionally burn data DVD or CD images (look into this for an example).
- Linux Infrared Remote Control to allow complete control of the frontend through an infrared remote.
- Annodex Continuous Media Markup Language to increase our content's usability.
- CMMLWiKi as a video database frontend and collaborative editing facility.
